AM24 (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a social and news-focused mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have when using the AM24 Android app.

- Account and profile data: email address, username, display name, date of birth, gender, bio, city, interests, country selection, and profile photo.
- Verification data: a liveness or verification proof image submitted during signup to help with account safety and age-gating.
- Location data: precise or approximate device location when you allow it, so AM24 can support local discovery, city-based experiences, and location-aware features.
- User content: posts, photos, videos, comments, chat messages, saved items, reactions, follows, friendships, and other content you submit inside the app.
- Notification data: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens and your notification preferences so the app can deliver article, video, and urgent alerts.
- Analytics and usage data: app interaction data collected through Firebase Analytics to understand usage, improve product quality, and monitor feature performance.
- Local device storage: some settings and login recovery data may be stored on your device, including encrypted email/password recovery storage for returning users.
How we use your information

AM24 uses third-party infrastructure and sign-in providers, including Firebase services (such as Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Messaging, and Analytics), Google Play services, and Facebook Login.
Permissions used by the app
- Camera: for capturing profile photos, posts, and verification media.
- Microphone / audio: for recording video with audio where supported.
- Location: for nearby or city-aware experiences when enabled by you.
- Notifications: for app alerts and updates.
- Internet access: for syncing account, media, chat, and news-related content.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as it is needed to operate AM24, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion requests are processed.

- You can stop using the app at any time.

Children
AM24 is not intended for children. The signup flow is designed for users who are at least 18 years old.
